Real Madrid plotting huge bid for Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus this summer

Real Madrid are plotting a huge summer bid to sign Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus, according to a new report, with Los Blancos president Florentino Perez said to be a big fan of the Brazilian.

Real currently possess the reigning Ballon d'Or winner, Karim Benzema, in their ranks - and the Frenchman continues to smash in the goals when available.

He has 18 goals in 28 appearances this season in all competitions, with 11 of those being scored in La Liga.

However, the 35-year-old has suffered with a number of minor injury problems this term, limiting his availabiity.

Carlo Ancelotti's side do have a reserve striker in their ranks in Dominican Republic international Mariano Diaz. However, the 29-year-old is rarely called upon by the Italian, with wingers Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior filling in at centre forward when Benzema is not available.

According to new reports, Perez wants to bring in a seasoned striker to compete with and play alongside Benzema next season - and it appears he will turn to Arsenal.
